At Warrnambool Primary School we aim to develop lifelong learners who are innovative and confident users of IT in an ever changing digital world. Through up to date learning technologies, our students and staff will have anytime, anywhere access to the most current knowledge and information.
Our school will integrate the use of technology to promote greater student engagement and the development of more autonomous learners. Our school will continue to build advanced teacher practice and develop our student and staff capabilities in digital technologies. We will create learning opportunities for our students and staff to share and collaboratively construct knowledge within our school, local and the global community.
We will also use technology to differentiate student learning across all curriculum domains. At Warrnambool Primary, student learning will be extended through authentic digital contexts that require inquiry, collaboration, creativity, communication and problem solving. We will use technology to communicate and provide timely feedback to all of our students, staff and our school community.
We will promote the responsible use of digital technologies and support our students, staff and school community to understand the behaviours and processes that will help them to act in a safe manner, when using digital technologies.
